Family art activities, kids play zone, artist speaker series, Art Demos, food vendors, raffle, music, and an Art Show that includes TACo Artists- six hours of continuous programs for all ages

Led by Carrie McClish, Sacred Heart Church opens its doors as members exhibit stunning artwork for all to see with a show called “Celebrating the Season of Creation.”

Spiritual & African Jazz Vinyl Listening Party & Afro-Indo Art……An interesting name and a very interesting place….Emmanuel has done a great job of gathering a potpourri of all things art for his Afro-Indo Market. sip on a hot (or iced!) chai and enjoy an all vinyl music set. The music will range from spiritual jazz such as Alice Coltrane to African Jazz such as Fela Kuti. Very limited seating inside but lots of seating outside, so bring a hat and jacket.

“Spooky Show” is being performed by Temescal local Drag artists Ace Palomino and Cotton TheAct and staring several performers in a fun friendly showcase….it’ll be a great show! Enjoy the Artwork from local artists on the walls and Art vendors. (Cover fee is on a sliding scale for the Drag Show)

Come to listen, to be heard, to see, to move, to celebrate and improvise. Everyone is welcome as a participant or audience member. The event invites musicians, poets, dancers, to improvise together- hosted by Lewis Jordan. Bring your own instrument, poem, dancing shoes…etc.

Certified Zentangle Artist, Marlye Snow, will lead Zentangle- an easy to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Join us in the lower lever of the library. Drawing supplies are provided!

TACo artists Christine Trowbridge, Davi Barker, and Tami DeSellier will teach how to create colorful collages - you get to take yours home – fun for the whole family! second floor - entrance on 42nd Street

Executive Director Catherine Millar has a stocked Depot - enjoy an ecological treasure trove of art and craft materials, educational supplies, home décor, paper goods and fabric – there’s something for everyone.  This is a Free event- Demonstrations and hands-on activities inspired by the treasure trove of art and craft materials.

Gabriel Escobar, owner of Tailor It! and his band, AJAYUZ play Andean music - 6pm-8pm – A tailor by day and a musician by night – bringing freshness and clarity to the music of Bolivia on Telegraph Avenue. TACo artist Woody Johnson will display his artwork.

 Explore the amazing local art of games and puzzles, offered by this store/community center that specializes in locally created products. Join several game and puzzle artists and creators to learn about their craft, play games with them and/or put together puzzles. Tea and cookies will be provided. This evening features Game creators and the illustrators

Interactive Textile Painting by Melina Finkelstein, interactive collage making with Davi Barker and Louis Libert - Come to be painted in your old clothes to paint someone else – fun with textiles!

Art Show - organized by TACo artist, Joannie Mitchell – the exterior facade of the church blends with the neighborhood – the interior is alive with bright and beautiful images – come and see for yourself.

Plan to see several art installations - Maybe a little food and some very cool jazz, for sure!

Kim and Brooke have a gallery of artwork in a tucked away shop in the smaller of the two Alleys… You are invited to an art reception with refreshments and music. They will be presenting art by Sara Gates, multidisciplinary artist and collaborative printmaker, whose work pushes the structural boundaries of printmaking, painting, and installation.
